I saw the article from the Yahoo! homepage as their top (well, it was the first story highlighted) featured story! Great job with publicizing!
It’s nice to see this in the news, but it’s hard to see how it’s an “important” story. Looks like just a standard human interest piece.
AOL may see it as important, but the chess press doesn’t. They’re mostly concerned with Amber, Poikovsky, and GM events.
Target: Promoting college chess to the level of college football.
