He looks familiar but I can’t remember his name. He’s for sure not Nakamura because Nakamura is from the Philippines so he looks Asian.

What? Nakamura is not Filipino. He’s Chinese I think. Perhaps his father is Chinese and mother is French.

Wrong. His mom is American. His dad is from Sri Lanka. His Dad is a GM from Sri Lanka. I think his name is Sunil.

Definitely Fabiano Caruana. Very recognizable, and he hasn’t changed much since 2004.

Hikaru Nakamura, (中村光 Nakamura Hikaru, born December 9, 1987 in Hirakata). He was born in Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, to a Japanese father and an American mother, and at the age of two years old, he moved with his parents to the United States. Nakamura began playing chess at the age of seven and was coached by his Sri Lankan stepfather, FIDE Master and chess author Sunil Weeramantry.

Sunil Weeramantry has lived in the USA—New York City/Westchester etc./—for a very long time. I knew him all during the 1970s. Played a good King’s Indian—I remember one amazing game he played as Black that was annotated in the late 1970s but isn’t at chessgames.com. Hikaru is certainly like-father-like-son in that aspect!

Il ragazzo nel foto è tuttavia Fabiano.
