      chessdom

There is a new and very interesting chess website by the name of ChessDom.com. Click here to check it out.

      Structure and mission

Chessdom is one of the newest chess sites on the Internet. It was born in April 2007 with the idea to provide modern coverage of the events and news of the ancient exciting game chess.

      Structure

Chessdom is divided into 8 main parts and more than 20 sections.
tournaments – covers a broad range of competitions from the preview to the final report; take a special look on the venues and chess tourism

players – exclusive interviews and detailed profiles of players; featured section for new talents in chess
games – detailed analysis of games by collaborating GMs and IMs; pgn and replayable games
multimedia – photo and video reports
theory – insight on rules and theory; professional lessons by leading trainers; quality books and software reviews
fun – the humor in chess, jokes, anecdotes, quotes
fans – the section where fans and readers can express their opinion and debate issues of chess
history – classical games and historical events reviewed

      Mission

The mission of Chessdom is to cover all aspects of the chess game. We truly believe that Internet is for chess what television is for soccer. It is the element that can revolutionize the game, bring more fans, and with that, more sponsors. For years, various chess organizations have been trying to create large scale tournaments and yet players receive relatively low prize fund. The main reason is that chess lacks adequate global coverage. We hope Chessdom and its more than 20 sections will help chess eliminate the mentioned problems and will bring the game to a higher level.

        Give me a break.
No neutral chess site at all.
        M-Tel promotion and Topalov propaganda.

We have a question: as official media parthners of mtel masters and casino di lugano chess festival, will chessdom.com deliver us the chess games live?
Which GMs are going to comment for chessdom.com?
