Classic chess tactic Chess tactic, Puzzle Solving Black to move. How should Black proceed? Source: ChessToday.net Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
nf2 looks like the move.
If 2 Kf2, then 2… qh3 and white’s king is in trouble. If 2. qf2, then 2… rf6! and black will win at least the e3 pawn and probably the g3 pawn too.
This is so classy 🙂
I would play Rf6 and put the screws on the F file. If white plays Rc2 or Rc3 to defend, I’d then play Qf5 to add more pressure on F.
1… Nxf2! wins.
2. Kxf2 Rf6+ 3. Kg1 (3. Kg2 Qf3+ 4. Kh2 Rxe3 wins.) Qxh3, with the threats of …Rf5/…Rh5 and …Re4/…Rh4/…Rg6.
2. Qxf2 Rf6+ 3. Qd2 Qf3+ 4. Kh2 Rxe3 wins.
