Nc6 looks great!
I think Sf7 and after Rf7, 2. Rd6 Kf8 3. Qf7 Qf7 4. Rf7 Kf7 5. Rb6
So Black has just played Kf8-e8 to avoid White’s Nxe6+ followed by Rxe6. As Black, I would have done the same, not seeing what could come next.
As White, first instincts:
1. Nxf7 Rxf7
2. Rxe6+ Re7
3. Qf7+ Kd8
4. Rd1+ Rd7
5. Rxd7+ Nxd7
6. Qxg7 Rf8 (6. … Re8 7. Qg5+)
7. Rxa6 Qxc3 (Nice try, but I’m not as happy with this – as White – as I thought I would be.)
After a lot of looking:
1. Rxb6 Qxd8
2. Rxa6 with Ra8 coming.
1. … Qxb6
2. Nxf7 Rxf7 (2. … Rf8 3. Nd6+)
3. Qxf7+ Kd8
4. Qxg7 and the rook falls (4. … Re8 5. Rd1+ followed by 6. Qd7+ with a fork.)
2. … Kd7
3. Nxh8 Kc7 (3. … Re8 4. Qf7+ Re7 5. Rd1+)
4. Nf7 and the extra piece will tell.
