Mating threats take an upper hand.
        1.Nf5+ gxf5
        (1…Nxf5 2.exf5 gxf5 3.Qxf5 Rg8 4.Rxg8 Qxg8 5.Rg1 Qf7 6.Rg4 Re7 7.Rh4+ Kg7 8.Qh7+ Kf8 9.Qh8+ Qg8 10.Qxf6+ Ke8 11.Rh8 wins Q for R )
        2.exf5 Red6

(2…Nxf5 3.Qxf5 tranposes to the alternative on move 1)
        (2…Rg8 3.fxe6 Rxg4 4.exf7 Kg7 5.Rxg4+ Kxf7 wins lot of material )
        3.Ra4 Rg8

        (3…Ng6 4.fxg6 Qe8 5.Qh4+ Kg7 6.Qh7+ Kf8 7.g7+ Kf7 8.g8=Q#)
        (3…Rd4 4.Rxd4 Rxd4 5.cxd4 exd4 6.Qh4+ Qh5 7.Qxf6+ Ng6 8.Rxg6+ Kh7 9.Qg7#)
        (3…Ng8 4.Qg7+ Qxg7 5.Rh4#)
        (3…Nxf5 4.Qxf5 Rd4 5.Rxd4 exd4 6.Qf4+ Kh5 7.Qg4+ Kh6 8.Qh4+ Qh5 9.Qxf6+ Kh7 10.Qg7#)
        4.Qxg8 Nxg8

On a normal basis, I would agree. But, now I must ask a question that a viewer asked. After 1.Nf5+, instead of 1…gxf5, what happens if black responded with 1…Kh7 That becomes an important question because, although a piece down, I think that black can still defend against mate.

          2. Qh4+ Kg8
