Photo and info provided by Betsy Dynako

I have had the pleasure of watching Epiphany Peters play chess since she was about 6 years old. Home for her is Michigan but her father makes sure she gets to travel to tournaments across the country. She just took first place in the 10 and Under section at the U.S. Jr Congress.

Here is one of her games:

Event: 2008 US Jr. Chess Congress
      Date: 2008.03.09
      Round: 5
      White: Peters, Epiphany 1589
      Black: Shankar, Roshan 1497
      Result: 1-0
      ECO: C45
      Time Control: G/75
      Section: 10 & Under
