      Fabiano scored 6 wins and 3 draws at Mitropa

      Fabiano Caruana, Mitropa Cup


      Here is a recent picture of Fabiano and his father Lou

      The Mitropa Cup team competition amongst 10 countries (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland) has just ended. GM Fabiano Catuana played 1st board for the Italian team. He had the highest 1st board score of 7.5/9 with a performance of 2810! He gained about 20 valuable rating points in the process. Congratulations to Fabiano!
