Fabiano to play at Reggio Emilia 2009/10

      Fabiano Caruana, Italy, Reggio Emilia

I just received an email from Fabiano Caruana about the 2009/2010 Reggio Emilia. Here is the field for the category 16 event:

      2715 Malakhov
      2692 Ni Hua
      2688 Bologan
      2685 Almasi
      2662 Caruana
      2655 Landa
      2587 Safarli
      2533 Brunello
      2530 Godena
      2510 Vocaturo

The tournament will take place on Dec. 28 – Jan. 6 with a rest day around the mid point. I am looking forward to seeing Fabiano do very well in his first tournament of the year and break 2700 in 2010.

        ‘Good luck GM Caruana.’

Good luck to him, means “Bad Luck” to at least one another in chess!? Why would you wanna wish something like that?
