What is that organization? Are they for real?

Not being sanctioned by FIDE probably means they’re business practices aren’t crooked enough…
Perhaps we should all embrace this new organization?

No it’s that wacky guy (forgot his name) who was scheduled to play a World Championship match against Varuzhan Akobian a while ago. Then Akobian had to withdrew because of FIDE’s World Cup. At least thats what the guy claimed.

He is a patzer that even one of us here could defeat. He is in charge of this “World Chess Federation”. A real joker.

Stan Vaughan is well known in the chess community as a con-artist who has been pulling one scam after another (usually involving some sort of ratings fraud) since the 1980s. He is a pathological liar and an extremely belligerent serial litigant, which is why many people have been afraid to confront him. This “World Chess Federation” is just his latest scheme.
