        Susan,

Most reports are saying that it is Shabalov’s 4th US Championship title but I count 5 titles:

2007, 2004, 2003, 2000 (with Joel Benjamin and Yasser Seirawan) and 1993 with Alex Yermolinsky.

        How many does he have?

He was a champion / co champion in 1993, 2000, 2003 and 2007. There was no US Championship in 2004.

        Best wishes,

I feel bad for Irina. I was hoping she could build on her recent successes.

Can you go over the Aigner game or just mention it explaining, because I feel that Aigner was winning… then he lost. Was it just a horrible blunder?

I feel sorry for Nakumara. What a letdown not making it to the Candidates.
