      Former SPICE team member win Split Open by a full point

      Croatia, Davorin Kuljasevic, SPICE

      The 3rd International Tournament Split Chess Open 2013 took place from 10th to 18th August in Hotel Zagreb in Split, Croatia.

      The 9-round Swiss event was organized by the Chess Club “Brda” and City of Split. 170 players from 21 federations competed, including 12 Grandmasters and 13 International Masters.

      Grandmaster Davorin Kuljašević convincingly won the tournament with 8,0/9 points, leaving the nearest followers a full point behind. Standings below.

      This year the tournament prize fund was increased to 10,000 EUR. Top prizes are: 2000, 1200, 700, 500, 400, 300 EUR.
