      GM Nikita Maiorov first in Open Tortoreto Lido

      Grandmaster Nikita Maiorov emerged clear winner of the Torneo Internazionale di Scacchi Tortoreto Lido that was held from 26th May to 2nd June in Villaggio Salinello, Italy.

      Maiorov collected 7,0/9 points to win the Open A in the field of 51 players and earn 1400 EUR top prize.

      Italians GM Danyyil Dvirnyy and IM Alessio Valsecchi shared the second place with 6,5 points each.
