        White can get a perpetual with:
        1. Rxf7+ Kxf7
        2. Qf5+ Kg7
        3. Qxd7+ Be7
        4. Qxe7+ Kh8
        5. Qe5 etc.

        Maybe there’s more, but I’m calculating through a fever. Happy Valentine’s Day!

        1.Rf7 Kf7 2.Qf5+ Kg7 3.Qd7+ Be7 4.Qe7+ Kh8 5.Qf6+ Rg7 6.Qf8+ Kh7 7.g6+ Kh6 8.Qh8+ Kg6 9.Qh5+ Kf6 10.Qf5++

        1 Rxf7+ …Kxf7 (forced).
        2. QH7+ …If Kf8 or Ke8, 3. Rf5+ or Re5+, and mate follows shortly.

        If …Ke6, 3. Qf5+ …Ke7,
        4. Qf6+ …Ke8
        5. Re5#.

        No need for a perpetual check…

        @Anonymous 11:03 – white’s attack is finished after 2 … Rg7! 3 Qf5 Kg8

        @Anonymous 10:19 – What can white get after 3 … Kg6 (instead of Be7)? Seems to me that white’s best is to take a perpetual with 4 Qf5+ Kg7 5 Qd7+, etc.

        Would appreciate any further insights from a fellow reader.

        4.Qe6+ wins in this line.
        eg
        4… Kg7 5.Qh6+ Kf7 6.Rf5+ and 7.Qe6+, or
        4… Kh5 5.Qh3+ followed by 6.Qh6+

        1.Tf7 K*f7
        2.Qh7 Rg7
        3.g6+ Kf6
        4.Qh4+ Ke6
        5.Qe1+ K*d5
        6.Qe5#

        4….. K*g6
        5.Qh5+ Kf6
        6.Qf5#
