I believe this is a position of Philidor, where the white queen triangulates to get back to the same position with Black to move, who will then be in zugzwang. But I don’t remember the details.

well it’s pretty easy to get back to the same position with blk to move, qe8,qe4,qc4,qh4,qh5, then pick off the rook whereever it moves with similar checks, then mate.

        1. Qe5 Kh8
        2. Qb5! and now if Kg8 then 3. Qh5 and if Kh7 then Qe8.

White wants to get the same position with black on move. Thus, 1 Qd5 Kh7 (1…Kh8 2 Qh1 Kg8 3 Qh5) 2 Qh1 kg8 3 Qh5 And the black rook gets separated from the king and White will win.

        1.Qd5+ Kh8
        if 1…Kh7 2.Qf5+ Kg8 3.Qh5 is the same

2.Qd8+ Kh7 3.Qe8, now the Rook must leave and the rest is history
