This is the final position in the Sakaev – Amonatov last round’s game of the Russian Championship. According to the official website, Sakaev played 63.Nd4 and the game was over. While White’s position is certainly better with a pawn up, it is far from over. Amonatov is a GM with a rating of 2637 and not some amateur. Does anyone know what happened? Did he lose on time or did the game go further?
