      Internet Refreshing Courses for Arbiters

      Dear friends,

      After the successful organization in 2014 of seven (7) workshops for the training of the International Arbiters, in which more than 180 Arbiters participated, FIDE and FIDE Arbiters’ Commission are going to continue the training of the Arbiters by organizing Refreshing Courses on Internet.

      The following subjects will be discussed in these Refreshing Courses:
      (a) The changes of the Laws of Chess that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
      (b) The changes of FIDE Titles, Ratings Regulations and Swiss System regulations that have been in effect since 1 July 2014.
      (c) The Anti cheating regulations that will be in effect soon.

      The courses will last for three days, with one evening session of three (3) hours per day and will be in English, Russian, French, Spanish and Arabic languages.

      The participation will be free for all International and FIDE Arbiters.

      Announcements with details for each Course will be published on the FIDE and the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission websites.
