      CHESS TOURNAMENT IN MEMORY OF “Iron Tigran” WINS Ruben Hayrapetyan

      In honor of the birth of the great chess player Tigran Petrosian, cultural society “Yerevan”, 16-17 June in Tallinn, held an open youth chess tournament in memory of 2-time world champion, whom contemporaries dubbed – “Iron Tigran” and who repeatedly fought for the world crown Nemenov The great Estonian chess player – Paul Keres.

      At the opening of the tournament with a greeting to the participants, as well as interesting stories from the chess life Tigran Petrosian made by the Director tallinsskoy Chess Academy named Grand chess – Grigor Hayrapetyan, as well as an honorary member of the academy, 86-year-old lover of chess – Yuri Ivanovich Galimsky who has been granted honorary law make the first move the tournament.

      Having 6 victories in 6 games, the first junior tournament in memory of 2-time world champion Tigran Petrosian won the 15-year-old Ruben Hayrapetyan. Second place went to Max Migunov (5 very good.). Third prize went to 12-year Artem Bakhteeva (4 www.). The best result among the girls showed Inga Pogodin. Winners of the pupils are Tallinn Chess Academy named after Tigran Petrosian.

      Cultural Society “Yerevan” and the Tallinn Chess Academy named after Tigran Petrosian express their deep gratitude to the network restoroanov McDonald’s in Estonia, as well as the metropolitan driving school “Kevad up support for a junior tournament.

        Aronian is way better than Petrosian.
