4 rounds into Bilbao Tournament, the WC doesn’t deserve his games commented upon. Now, a cursory mention that he won a game and is back to business. You have missed Anand’s fantastic technique in winning against a 2700+ rated player who is hell bent upon drawing the game!
        What is going wrong?

        Nothing wrong with it.
A victory for Anand is a normal thing.
See Chucky (which will never become world champion) at the top, even if briefly, is exciting.

        I can’t see the problem.

        Best regards
        Stef
