      JAPFA Chess Festival in Indonesia

      The JAPFA Chess Festival 2012 was organized by the PB. Percasi on 16-20th April at the Gedung Serba Guna Senayan – Jln.Manila, Pintu Senayan, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

      The Festival consisted of the Women Closed, Women Open, Veteran, Open and a number of junior tournaments.

      The Women International Tournament was a six-player double round robin event. WGM Anna Burtasova from Russia won the competition by collecting 6.5/10 points. Second is the local hope WFM Medina Warda Aulia with 6 points.

      Final standings:

      1 WGM Burtasova Anna RUS 2276 – 6.5
      2 WFM Medina Warda Aulia INA 2172 – 6
      3 WGM Doluhanova Evgeniya ARM 2269 – 5.5
      4 WIM Sihite Chelsie Monica INA 2181 – 4.5
      5 WGM Gutsko Anastasia UKR 2328 – 4.5
      6 Jelsen Yemi INA 2016 – 3

      The Women Open was a 9-round Swiss event with 30 participants. Ummi Fisabillah won the tournament with 7.5 points.

      1 Ummi Fisabillah, MPW INA 1690 – 7.5
      2 Aay Aisyah Anisah, MPW INA 1823 – 7
      3 WFM Dita Karenza INA 1834 – 6.5
      4 NM Felica Trenseno INA 2081 – 6

      7 Virda Rizka Aulia, MPW INA 2023 – 5.5
