The Stockfish analysis (provided on Chessbomb) of the key position suggested that Kamsky should have captured at f5 with the rook, but the main line seemed to show that white gains only a small advantage in the ending:

.Rf5 Kf5
.Nd6 Ke6
.Nc8 b5
.ab5 a4
.Na7 Bf6
.Nc6 Kd5
.Nb4 Kc4
.Na2 Kb5
.f4 Kc4
.g4 Kb3
.Nc1 Kc2
.g5 Bg7
.Na2 with +0.36 adv. white.

I looked at this for a while, and just don’t see how white can really make progress in time on the kingside since black keeps attacking the knight from b3 and c2 since it takes white too many moves to queen a pawn vs the bishop. Interesting position, though, at move 35.
