      Russians Would Not Back Kasparov

      (Angus Reid Global Monitor) – Former chess champion Garry Kasparov might not have a real chance to win Russia’s presidency next year, according to a poll by the Public Opinion Foundation. 69 per cent of respondents say they are unlikely to vote for the leader of the opposition Other Russia coalition.

        Garry was a great chess player but he has no chance to win this election.

        I am not Russian and I have no clue how good an idea is to vote on GK for president of the country… anyway, it looks like good news – hopefully he doesn’t win the election and returns to the chess arena! 🙂

        Hi Susan..you can see my 2 video (not so clear cause the lights) about Kasparov, when he was in Milan 1 week ago for signing his book (but he did just this :-(( )

        …since i’m here..i say to you also that actually Fabiano Caruana has 3 on 3 in first saturday (7 on 9 for doing the third and last GM Norm) and his elo is 2549 and he has already more then 20 point for next time (2570…)

        This far out from an election, those are actually really high numbers for a challenging candidate. And it is a new party! That is amazing. In the US he would be considered a “front runner” with those kind of numbers.
