      Komodo catches up on Stockfish in TCEC Season 6 – Stage 4

      Chess Software, Komodo, Stockfish


      The reigning TCEC champion Komodo, modification 3157, catches up on Stockfish 300414.

      The latter has been leading TCEC Season 6 – Stage 4 for a long time, but Komodo caught up in the twelfth round, defeating Critter 1.6a.

      Thus, Komodo and Stockfish share first place with 7.5/12 points each, but Houdini 4 is close enough to mess the things up. You can see the standings after 12 rounds below.

      Only the top two will qualify to play the Superfinal and the engines are vying bitterly to move on to the next Stage.

      1 Komodo 1223 3148 – 7.5
      2 Stockfish 300414 3157 – 7.5
