      Kulaots and Yemelin share first place in 6th ShakkiNet International 2015

      Finland, ShakkiNet GM Tournament

      Helsinki, Finland

      The 6th ShakkiNet International Grandmaster Tournament is taking place from 8-16th June, 2015, in Helsinki, the capital and largest city of Finland.

      The event was a 10-player single round-robin tournament with an average Elo rating of 2402.

      GM Kaido Kulaots from Estonia and last year’s winner GM Vasily Yemelin from Russia tied for the first place with 6,5/9 points, but Kulaots prevailed on a superior tie-break score to lift the trophy.

      Jeff Sarwer and IM Daniel Ebeling, both from Finland, shared the third place with 5 points.
