Nielsen with 2700+ (live) rating–awesome! A Dane myself, it is of course a great joy to finally see at compatriot on the right side of the “magic” 2700 barrier.

This isn’t the first time Nielsen or Onischuk has achieved a live rating above 2700. It’s happened more than a couple times for each player.
Interesting that Danailov has powered his way through on the right hand side.
As to the list, if Karjakin was also part of the next world championship cycle, it would have been a great seniors vs juniors event (experience vs energy)
