      Le wins Aeroflot!

Aeroflot, Le Quang Liem, Moscow, Russia

Impressive performance by this young man at Aeroflot. Needing only a draw to tie for 1st, Le defeated Nepomniachtchi to win clear first while courting a performance of around 2850!

      Congratulations to GM Le!

le quang liem just won 2 strong tournaments in a row. if the previous Moscow Open had used the same rule as Aeroflot to decide winner – liem would have been the main winner because he had less white games than all other shared winnners.

Congratulations to this outstanding young Vietnamese player, Le Quang Liem.

He finished =1st at the Moscow Open and is now the *sole* winner of the Aeroflot Open.

“Susan,is chess so easy a Vietnamese can do it?”

This question borders on being racist.. Do I understand that if chess is difficult, a vietnamese can not do it??

You owe all Vietnamese a big apology, Lionel. That’s a heck of a racist remark, man. The mighty US troops surrendered to the Vietnamese, remember? They must be a lot smarter than you think.

There is a study with scientific evidence which claims that East Asians have the highest IQ and Blacks have the lowest:

“East Asians average higher on IQ tests than Whites, both in the US and in Asia, even though IQ tests were developed for use in the Euro-American culture. Around the world, the average IQ for East Asians centers around 106; for Whites, about 100; and for Blacks about 85 in the U.S. and 70 in sub-Saharan Africa.”
