Levon Aronian will celebrate New Year in the Philippines

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Chess Grandmaster, thrice Olympic champion Levon Aronian will celebrate New Year in the Philippines.
As reports “Armenpress” Aronian personally wrote about this in his facebook profile. Aronian states: “In the beginning of the Blindfold Chess Championship in Beijing I did not show best results, notwithstanding finally I regained my play, my favorite style in chess – blindfold chess.”
Among other things Aronian underscored that it was a great honor for him to meet with Charles Aznavour in the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Beijing. Within the framework of closure of the Francophonia Year in China the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to China organized the meeting of renowned Armenian singer Charles Aznavour with the Armenians living in Beijing. Prominent Armenian Chess Grandmasters Levon Aronian and Elina Danielyan attended the event.
The thrice Olympic champion Levon Aronian congratulated everybody on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas.
