Is this the only chess centre in London?

No it isn’t. There are two quite near each other.
The Chess and Bridge Centre is one,
The London Chess Centre as shown here the other.

It is not really a chess ‘centre’ or even ‘center’, just a shop.

The BCM Chess Shop (and also Bridge Shop) is in Baker Street.

        http://www.bcmchess.co.uk/

Both shops are excellent, and have remote-buying services.

Am rather puzzled as to why Susan Polgar wants to visit this shop, whatever its undoubted qualities – and even more, be photographed at it.

Susan knows Malcolm Pein for a long time. They’re friends. I assume that’s why she dropped by for a quick visit on her way to Bilbao.
