        Great photos! A question: what was up with those tables? It must have been a challenge for some of the players who had to deal with an uneven playing surface…

        Those tables were definitely substandard, with offset levels running down the middle of each board. Hopefully if this tournament is held in Brownsville next year the facility will be better. Also, there was not enough elbow room for the players in the boys’ section. Its a shame!
