The young Sam from Odessa won. They were playing on the 5 second delay, both were out of regular time.
Sam beat me fair and square by fighting off my attack. I thought I could run him out of time but he calculated very nicely and eventually came out a Rook ahead. I think I’ll go down to Odessa in July for the rematch. By then I hope he’s a B player. By then I also hope to WIN some of the good games I’ve been playing lately too!
