SPICE and Texas Tech made a major proposal last year to advance chess through out schools in Texas and potentially nationwide. So far, we have crossed every hurdle to make this proposal become a reality. If and when it happens, it can potentially change chess as we know it for young people for decades to come. More information to come when the final step is officially approved.
