      Meet the Russian Chess Queens!

      N Kosintseva, Tatiana Kosintseva

According to John Saunders, Nadezhda Kosintseva (R) yesterday completed her requirement at Gibraltar for the GM title. Her sister Tatiana Kosintseva (L) is already a GM. They are now the second pair of sisters in history to earn the GM title. They are also the two top ranked female players in Russia, and by quite a big margin.

      Congratulations to Nadezhda!

And they’re not so arrogant like Kosteniuk. They’re also way better than her in chess.

Tatiana is so cute… BTW, whoever said that Kosteniuk is arrogant is an idiot.

I guess Saunders was wrong, as far as I understand Nadezhda had already completed all the requirements for the GM-title before the Gibraltar tourney started. FIDE will (most likely) award Nadezhda the GM title on the 1st quarter Presidential Board Meeting 2011, 3-6 February 2011, Antalya, TUR.

Tatiana is cute.. BTW, whoever said that Kosteniuk is not arrogant is an idiot. She’s the most pompous individual in chess. Either that or she has the worst management team making her look that way. Take your pick.

Congratulations Nadezhda! Don’t overlook the incredible performance by Nana Dragnidze.

Very true, the sole fact that Kosteniuk calls herself “Chess Queen” while she is too far away from that, and the pathetic justification provided in her website about that, and even the fact that she registered “Chess Queen” as her trade mark, man, that is so pathetically arrogant.

        I trade-marked “rubber dog shit”.

Does that not make me “the shit”?

It’s not possible to trademark the phrase Chess Queen as is. Kosteniuk and her team clearly lied again to the public just as they claimed she was a GM at 14. No trademark office in the United States would ever trademark commonly used words such as Chess and Queen. I am 100% certain of this. If Kosteniuk is not lying, let her publish the documentation stating this. There is no way she could produce this.

I don’t know if you can trademark chess queen or not but it seems lack of class considering Chiburdanidze, Gaprindashvili, Xie Jun, Hou Yifan and Judit Polgar have all accomplished a lot more than Kosteniuk.
