      Melekhina scores WGM norm

      Alisa Melekhina, Chicago, NA FIDE Invitational


      WFM Alisa Melekhina earned the half point necessary to gain her WGM norm. Her draw against FM Shankar secured the WGM norm with a round to spare.

      Her next goal is to either beat or draw FM Chow in her last round game on Friday night to secure her IM norm!
