      Michael Adams quits the Grand Prix?

      Is Adams out of the Grand Prix?

      Apparently, Michael Adams has also withdrawn from the Grand Prix! His name is not on the list of the participants for Elista tournament, as originally scheduled. Magnus Carlsen pulled out earlier, Mohamad Al Modiahki and Yannick Pelletier are being replaced after their sponsors quit the series.

      The four new players are Pavel Eljanov of Ukraine, Evgeny Alekseev of Russia, Vladimir Akopian of Armenia and Ruslan Kasimdzhanov of Uzbekistan.

        Actually, all players should withdraw if they have style….
        Fighting for a slot in a candidates-tournament that is given to Topalov for loosing 2 matches consecutively (Kramnik 2006 and potentially Kamsky 2009) and another slot being given out as a wild card from the organizer is an insult to all the players who should compete for such a slot.
