        1, gxh6 Nxc2
        2. Rxg7+

now if 2… Kf8, a possible line is:
        3. Ne5 Qxe5
        4. dxe5 Nb4
        5. R1g1 Bd8
        6. Bg6 Re7
        7. Bh5 f5
        8. Rg8+ Kf7
        9. h7
        1-0

        or if 2… Kh8
        3. Rh7+ Kg8
        4. Rg1+ Bg5
        5. Rxg5+ Kf8
        6. Ne5 Ke7
        7. Rxf7+
        and 8. Rxd7+ wins

Think I made a mistake in the previous solution.

        After
        1. hxg6 Nxc2
        2. Rxh7+ Kf8
        3. Ne5 Qxe5
        4. dxe5 Nb4
        5. R1g1 Bd8
        6. Bg6

        now if 6… Re7
        7. Bh5 f6/f5
        8. Rg8+ Kf7
        9. R1g7#

        of if 6…. fxg6
        7. R1xg6 any
        8. Rg8+ Kf7
        9. R6g7#

Black has a much more stubborn defense to 1. gh in 1…g6. Now 2. Qd2 N:d3 3. Q:d3 begins an assault on the g-pawn that will probably be successful, but the game becomes trench warfare rather than an opportunity for brilliance.
