        I think black could have equalized with 16..e5. For example

        17. Nc4 Bb4 18. Bd2 a5 19. Nxa3 e4! 20. Bxe4 Bxa3 21. Rxa3 Qe7 (the point) 22. Bf5 Qxa3 23. Bxd7 =/+
