White to move. Can White win this? How should White continue?
Be6 sets up the threat of Be3->Be-Bh3-Bg2#. The only defense is Bd6, and the knight falls. After that, it’s easy.
I still don’t see the win and I would like somebody to show it. For example if
1. Be6 Ne7
2. Be5 Ng6
3. Bg3 Bh6 and 4..Nf4 ruins White’s mate plan.
This is too far beyond me, but I came up with the following. Beyond Bg2 my brain stoped working.
1.Be6 Na7
2.Bh3 Kh2
3.Bg2
Why not Bd4 followed by Ke2 to advance the pawn. Cant see any way to stop the pawn from queening then.
