Why do we have to put this miss Lubock in all those pictures. Is she a chess genius. Is she promoting the body over the mind ? something else ? I dont see what she is doing there ? Can somebody explain ?

I thought Faith Munoz was really congenial in agreeing to step into the last spot, given that she has no significant ambitions in chess.

Why not put up her games as a tribute. Well done, Faith.

Miss Lubbock is in all the pictures because she represents Lubbock, Texas, America, youth, freedom, beauty, nice teeth – all the things that we Americans hold dear.

The fact that she might be slightly overdressed for the occasion does not mean either that she cannot play chess or that her heels are higher than her IQ.

When our athletes are losing their Olympic medals for drug-cheating, be grateful that some of our kids can still smile for America.

The film Smile (1970s) says much the same as above.
