        1. Rxf7, threatening 2. Rg7+, etc. If 1… Rxf7 then 2. Rb8+ Rf8 3. Rxf8#

        Piece of cake.

        1. Rxf7 Rxf7

        (On any other Black 1st move [with the exception of 1. … Kh8], the play goes: 2. Rg7+ Kh8 3. Rxh7+ Kg8 4. Rbg7#)

        2. Rb8+ Rf8
        3. Rxf8#

It looks like Rxf7 takes the cake! With the knight guarding g7, RxR is not an option due to the back rank mate. Then Rg7+ can’t be stopped with mate to follow.

        Unless I’m missing something, it looks like 1.Rxf7 works because 1…Rxf7 2.Rb8+ Rf8☐ 3.Rxf8#

        Pretty easy:

        1. Rf7!

With dueling threats of 2.Rf8# and 2.Rg7/3.Rh7/4.Rbg7#. There is no defense against these threats since the capture at f7 is also mate:

        1. …..Rf7
        2. Rb8 Rf8
        3. Rf8#

        if anything except Kh8 Rg7+ Kh8 Rxh7+ Kg8 Rbg7#
        if Kh8 Rxf8#
