        f6 wins. there is no way to keep the f8 rook and avoid mate.

        1 f6 Ke8 (forced in order to hold the f8 rook)
        2 Qxf8 resigns

        if

        2 … Kxf8
        3 Rh8#

        Let me rethink.

        Well probably white will move f6 hoping for Ke8. but that is catastrophic with Qxf8, Kxf8, Rh8# so Kd8 is a possibility with Kc7 after Qxf8+ and just hope that pawn on a3 will give some counter.

        hmm another better move. Ke6 after f6 is the best move. and then continue with a2 and then d4 to open up lines to the white king and to threat promotion.

        1. f6+, Ke8 (Ke6 doesn’t work because it allows for Qxf8 getting the free rook)
        2. Qxf8+, Kxf8
        3. Rh8++

        A pleasure as always Mrs. Polgar

        1.f6+

        Black either loses the f8 rook directly or has to give it up after

        2.Rh8

        while the Black King flees, or else gets mated.
