      More speak out about WCC

Georgia, Nalchik, Russia, Women's World Championship

      Dear ChessBase,

I would like to remark that when FIDE and the Organizing Comitee write that the open letter was written by Georgian chess players they never say that it was later signed by eight more players from different countrys. They all agree with us 100%, that this champioship should be moved to another place. Here are their names:

      Irina Krush, USA
      Claudia Amura, Argentina
      Monica Socko, Poland
      Iweta Rajlich, Poland
      Anna Gasik, Poland
      Ketino Kachiani-Gersinska
      Tea Lanchava-Bosboom, The Netherlands
      Marie Sebag, France

These are playes whom we were able to contact. I’m sure that if we had the emails of others they would suport us as well. So, please, if you have a chance, ask them to contact us at one of the following addresses:

      info@gcf.org.ge
      wchampionship@yahoo.com

      Many thanks and best regards
      IM Maia Lomineishvili, Georgia

I hope all players will boycott.

Why doesn’t chess life online talk about this?

How about all players take up arms, choose a side and go help out those in need?? Instead of crapping on the Internet??

        The championship willbegin as scheduled.

Those players just eliminated themselves from the tournament (and possibly out of the next cycle) without a good reason.

There is a better chance that they are hit by a car in their home town than something happening to them in Nalchik.

        LOL.

You think other players dodn’t visit chess sites and didn’t see your letters with your email adress in it ???

To me it seems more like they don’t share your point of view on this matter, rather than they don’t know about it because you couldn’t contact them personally.
