        perhaps now we will see more of Kramniks preparation for Anand.
        😛 I would love to see some attacking chess from Kramnik!

        Why the the rankings in the Olympiad are by match points and not by board points, as it always was (and more fair)?

        Actually the match points is “how it always was” and not the board points!!!

        And what is “fair”?
        Let’s say that team A wins all their matches by 2.5-1.5
        Let’s say that team B wins all their matches 4-0, except the match against team A, which it loses 1.5-2.5

        Which team is better???

        For me it is team A, but you can always arguee that it is team B.
