It’s supposed to be airing here in the Philippines this month. But I’ve seen Susan’s episode (and the episode about the kid who plays the piano) on Google.

        Hi Susan,

I knew of your unique chess ability and upbringing to some extent, but watching this documentary really brought my respect for you to a higher level.

        Thanks for posting the video.

The editing, music, content and the overall quality of this documentary keeps it moving. Subtle innovations have the audience’s attention from the start, even those that do not play chess. Kudos to the writers, director, producer and cinemaphotographers. Susan they did an outstanding job and we should see another wave of children who become intrigued with our game.

I watched it when you posted the google video link last week. Great show! Are there any plans to do more experiments with other players to see if the same region of the brain is used? When learning patterns do you think there is a difference between seeing the pieces set up on a board vs. a diagram in a book?

        Yes,

I would be interested to see how USCF president can play chess without a functioning brain.

Now that is the million dollar question!
