40…Nf4 41.Rc8 Rxg2 42.Kh1 Rf2 Much stronger would have been Kf7 not to allow the check from the back. This still wins comfortably.

Ditto! This site is amazing! Probably the best blog on the web – and I’m including the famous Daily Kos and Instapundant. Now if only we could call up past posts by category.
When I looked at their growth curves and curent ratings, I could see a realatively easy Negi win. But she is 17 and experienced. He is 13, after all. I would guess that his handlers will have their hands full! He could probably use someone like Susan right now.
I’m glad that extraordinary talented sweet 16-year old girl outplayed overrated 15-year boy.

lol……..i predict a comeback from the young man he’s had some good positons and some bad luck
So far negi has plyed poorly in both the games. In first game he saved defeat after hard work, and in second he could had a draw. But poor play made him lose. Hope he will play a bit more imaginately, and surprise Katy with some opening prep. In both these games, it was Lahno who deviated from the theory first.
