The New Caledonia International Chess Open is set to take place on 19-24th August, 2013, at the Le Meridien Nouméa on New Caledonia.
The event is organized by the Nouméa Chess Club and the Casino of Nouméa and is incorporating the New Caledonia Championship.
The Open will be a FIDE rated 9-round Swiss with norm opportunities and is valid for the Oceania Grand Prix.
The total prize fund is 12 000 AUD.
