Good resolution. No lunatic should be allowed to kill chess. Sloan must go!

I’m reall curious how 1 person could ‘kill chess’ for such a region? !?!? what exactly does he do wrong then?

Don’t want to keep drilling on the need to save important information, but that Sam Sloan post is precisely the kind of thing that should be saved in a permanent place on this site so that new and occasional users (as opposed to regulars like myself) could find answers to their questions.

Thanks, michael c.m. for digging up that url. But for you I bet that few people would have seen that post.

Oh, and for my New Year Resolution, I will try to do a better job of staying on topic.

Oh, and take the advice of that guy in the predictions post and get a better picture. But what can a camera do with a guy who has such an ugly mug as mine?

The funny thing is that people always recognise one politician’s lies while they support another’s.
        No personal attacks?
This site is in GM Polgar’s name and she allows and even encourages these personal attacks with subtlety.
Here is a suggestion for a new year resolution:
        if you are a politician
do not try to promote your high sense of honour and morality while questioning that of other politicians, if you are going to leave these disgraceful and irrational personal attacks on this weblog.
They are not opinions or facts: they are vicious and hysterical attacks against people who are working for chess.

to resist the urge to sit in a vat of warm tapioca while drawing maps of Dearborn, Michigan.

Many smiles in the new year!

To do everything I can…do my part..in helping Susan get into USCF office. I know chess will be headed in the right direction then. Also i want to become a master rating wise. So I will play in more tournaments in 2007 then I have in any previous year. Also, I want to start a collegiate chess team at my new college.

        Dear Susan Polgar,

My new year resolution for CHESS is to improve my game by purchasing FRITZ-10 .Unfortunately this software is not available in INDIA.

Secondly-i request you to publish on this site, which is the world’s most powerful chess programme for home use.

        best regards

        Dear Prasad LBV,

The world’s best Chess Software for home use is FRITZ-10/Shredder 10.

However shredder even on HARD LEVEL loses to CHESS MASTER 10 while chessmaster plays on :
        “CHESS MASTER (2812/2912 ETC)LEVEL”
To try this, pls log on to shredder online play & you may try
        to pit it with Chessmaster.

However Shredder is believed to have won many world championships.

I suggest shredder people to take note of abv or CHESSMASTER 10 organizers should pit their programme with shredder in next championship round.
in view of this confusion -suggest
stick on to fritz -10/shredder 10.
