        Massoud was killed, I think in the 1990’s.

        Irag’s “religious” leader Sistani recently called for the banning of chess.

        Right, Massoud was killed by a suiside bomber sent by Al Qaeda and posing as a journalist because after the Soviet-Afgan war Massoud fought the Talibans quite successfully.

        Massoud was the second player (after Fischer) who checkmated the Soviets.

        That’s why Massoud attacks from the flank. His opening move is most probably 1. Ng1-f3

        Actually he was killed by 2 Al Qaeda operators disguised as journalists the day before Nine-Eleven 2001.
