      Polgar Chess Asia organizes DYTM Raja Nazrin Shah International Open

      Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Polgar Chess Asia


      DYTM Raja Nazrin Shah International Open, with a total prize fund of RM 45,000 thanks to generous sponsorship from the Masterskill Education Group, will be held in Kuala Lumpur at the Olympic Sports Hotel from 17-23 September 2012.

      The event is organised by Polgar Chess Asia for the Kuala Lumpur Chess Association (KLCA) with support from the Malaysian Chess Federation.

      Previous winners are GM Anton Filippov (2008), GM Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son (2009), GM Hou Yifan (2010) and GM Oliver Barbosa (2011).

      The line up is now final with 90 participants, 10 more than planned for. There are representatives from 19 countries, including 30 titled players – 15 Grandmasters, 2 Woman Grandmasters, 7 International Masters, 1 International Woman Masters, 4 FIDE Masters, and 1 Woman FIDE Master.
