Quang Liem ranked 29th seed in the World Cup
VietNamNet Bridge – Two Vietnamese chess players Le Quang Liem and Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son are ranked respectively 29th and 85th in the World Chess Cup 2013.
Le Quang Liem begins preparing for World Cup
On July 10, the draw of the World Chess Cup 2013 was held in the city of Tromso, Norway. The draw result was released 31 days before the opening of the tournament helps players know in advance some information about their rivals and have some time to prepare.
A total of 128 players will compete at the World Chess Cup. The players are paired for knockout competition.

If he wins the game, Liem will confront the winner in the game between Flores – Vallejo Pons. Overcoming this challenge, he may face a very strong competitor – Alexandr Grischuk, who was just overthrown from the championship of the world rapid and blitz chess tournament last month by Liem.
Standing at No. 85, Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son will face Russian player who ranks 44th, Vladimir Akopian, in the first round.
