      Chess Olympiad, Dresden, Press Conference

Here is the link to the photos from the first press conference of the day. My guests include GM Mikhail Gurevich (once ranked #5 in the world), GM Tomi Nyback (just defeated Magnus Carlsen just shortly before the press conference), GM Wesley So (top ranked player in the Philippines and participant of the 2009 SPICE Cup), Pamela Mangroelai (Miss Surinam and she will represent her country in the world beauty pageant – she plays board 4 for the Surinam Women’s Olympiad team), and Terosa Ooft (she is 14 and plays board 2 for the Surinam Women’s Olympiad team).

I love this babe! She is so beautiful! You should be careful allowing chessbase to publish your not such beautiful photo like they did today.

Wesley So is my favorite! Trained by Eugene Torre, he is bound to reach at least 2630 in the nearest future!!

Eugene Torre trained Wesley So? That’s the first time I’ve heard of it.

Is there somewhere we can hear the press conference?

        ‘Eugene Torre trained Wesley So?’

Why would you hear about it? Eugene also played secret training matches that were not published. How else could have So improved if not trained by Eugene? There is noone else in the Philippines capable of training the young grandmaster.
